Fourth of July 2005
We had a great day with friends. Sara and Joel invited us to join them at Joel's mom's for a party. Mara got to play with friends while we had fun hanging with the big people. Dinner was great, as is often the case when DG's are involved. Dessert was wonderful, as is also often the case when DG's are involved. Enjoy the pictures and Hapy Fourth of July!

Nice pictures. Those puppies bring back memories of all the many puppies we used to have. It looks like Mara loved them. I would have loved to see her with them. What kind of puppies are they?

We missed you all (Kesslers and DiGlorias) on the 4th. Jon decided to go to work for the day and then we went out for Amish food that evening. Not exactly the fun-filled extravaganza you all had! :-) However, I did see many Amish and I keep dreaming that they should set up an "Amish camp" (I envision something like a host family to foreign exchange students) where I could send my non-existent, future children in the summer to work, learn to be happy with less, and learn about this culture.
Thanks for the info on the puppies, Sara. I wrote Mom back and told her they are "$900 a pop" puppies!
