We got our hair cut, so here are some pictures. If you scroll down, you'll see just how long her hair was. Now that it's been a couple of weeks since we actually took this picture, her hair is already almost too long again. I think Mara was happy with her hair cut. Posted by Picasa

My hair cut. I don't have a flat iron, so it hasn't looked like this since.  Posted by Picasa

Mara and Sophia, Oct 2

Matt and Jenna suprised us last Sunday. We were able to hang out for almost an hour while we showed off our home improvements and Mara begged to hold Sophia. Posted by Picasa

School Picnic, Fall 2005

This is a bit of a flash back, since these are not in order with the rest of the pictures. That's what I get for not updating the pictues on this blog for 2 months. Here are a few pictures from the school picnic.

Hey, Cade! Will this fit into your "When bad pictures happen to good people" section? Posted by Picasa

Fiesta 2005

Again, we slacked off on the camera, but we did manage to click a few special interest shots for our picture fans out there. Fiesta is a big Latino party held in downtown Winston Salem each year. Lots of food, music, and dancing. This year, we made it to the children's section, in which Mara played her first game of "Lotería" and won! Her prize was a miniature (unstuffed) piñata we like to call Señor Nemo. Sorry, he refused to have his picture taken.

Here's the other picture of Cade and Maggi the chicken. Maggi either doesn't know what Cade's thinking, or has graciously accepted her fate as the yummiest food fare in town. Either way, Mara's not quite so sure. Posted by Picasa

Zoo, September 2005

We bought a family plus membership to the zoo. Now, we can go as often as we want, and after two trips, it's paid for itself. As an additional perk, we get one guest in free each visit, and $2 off each additional guest ticket. Anyone wanna go to the zoo?
