Go, Flyers! Go!

Cade and I were given tickets to attend a Flyers game at the RBC Center. We had a blast, so here are some pictures to let you in on what we saw.

Merry Christmas, everybody! I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours was, as we celebrated Christ's Incarnation. In spite of the floor fiasco, which left us with area rugs on ugly, exposed concrete for the next several weeks, we managed to have a warm little celebration. Here's my ugly little Christmas tree with the outrageous fuzzy-snowball lights. I think it all came together quite well--just going to show that two uglies do make a pretty picture.

Cade and I had to wait until Christmas Eve to put together Mara's big present, the train table and 100-piece train set we bought her. Of course, we had to play with it a bit, too. It was fun putting it together, knowing that we would surprise her with something special and unexpected the next day.

One last picture before hiding the train table for Christmas morning...Oh, wait a minute...It already was Christmas morning. I think we were in bed sometime around 2:00 A.M.

Christmas morning, after Mara said, "Please just let me sleep for a little bit longer. I'll open presents later." Ha! I thought the kid was supposed to pry the parents away from slumber.
